Lake George Wildfire Still Out Of Control

As of 13:35, the Lake George wildfire is experiencing increasing fire conditions. Additional tankers have been dispatched and are currently en route. One air asset was temporarily redirected to respond to a woods fire in Woodville, but has returned to Lake George.
Currently, onsite resources comprise 23 Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and 30 local firefighters, in addition to four Northwest Territories planes, two Newfoundland planes, five contracted helicopters, and 18 pieces of heavy equipment. The next update is anticipated for late afternoon/early evening.
As of 16:05, the Lake George wildfire has breached a firebreak, traversed a creek, and is rapidly spreading through a region characterized by 'continuous fuel.' Newfoundland Water bomber 415's are currently stationed at the base, but have been requested to deploy.
